How to Use: Take one charcoal tablet and light it around the rim. Do this by holding the charcoal with a tong and by using a lighter or candle which can burn the charcoal. (The safest way is with an incense tong) Our self-lighting charcoal will begin to crackle and pop as the surface ignites. Once you see that charcoal is burnt from the edges, put it on the incense burner, heat-proof bowl, plate or surface. Wait 1-2 mns until coal is fully lit, glowing red hot and is covered with grayish-white ash. Add a finger nail size of copal or resin to the top of the charcoal. Fan and cleanse. *Please note: Make sure to never throw ashes into the garbage after burning, the coal still might be hot! It is best to let the ashes sit overnight or run underwater before disposing of them."
